Welcome

Welcome to Mark Fellowes Nature Photography. The images in this website reflect my broad interests in natural history, and are arranged in galleries linked by taxonomic group. In addition, I regularly travel to Indonesia and the Mediterranean, so I have separate galleries for those locations. Please have a look around - I hope that you like what you see.

I find that photography gives me insights into the natural world that would be difficult to achieve any other way. Looking closely at the smaller inhabitants of our gardens and local patches can provide incredible insights into the subtle interactions that govern the abundance and distributions of wild species. At the same time, the spectacular and rare help to emphasize why it's all worth protecting.

Visitors may be interested in reading about how I set up my nature photography in the How To section, or see my Latest Images.

All photographs are İMark Fellowes. I am represented by Ardea, a specialist wildlife photographic library. If you wish to use any of my images for publication, you can contact me, or Ardea, directly. My photographs have been published in magazines, books, and calendars.
