Other Mediterranean wildlife

The Mediterranean region is also home to a wide range of other biodiversity, including a wide range of plants, invertebrates and reptiles. Spending time here in the Spring is always worth while, as even a small, scrubby patch of land will turn up something interesting, and flowering plants are at their peak. As the Summer continues, we often see fewer species as the heat takes its toll.
