Welcome to my space on the web. My images are arranged in galleries, linked by location or taxonomic group. Please have a look around.

I find that photography gives me insights into the natural world that would be difficult to achieve any other way. Looking closely at the smaller inhabitants of our gardens and local patches can provide incredible insights into the subtle interactions that govern the abundance and distributions of wild species. At the same time, the spectacular and rare help to emphasize why it's all worth protecting.
